I appreciate all things made.

For as long as I can remember, handicraft has been apart of who I am.

My hands have always been busy making. I remember being in hospital when I was seven and begging the nurse on duty to show me how to crochet the baby booties she was making – she did. Over the years it has taken many forms, as a child, my favourite thing was to design, knit and hand sew for my collection of dolls. In my teenage years sewing slinky dresses for the B&S´s, to making quilts in my early married years, to baby clothes when expecting with great excitement my first child.

Now four children later, much sewing for the children, for the home and friends, and sometimes for me.

Over the last 15 years, quilting shops have appeared with a wonderful selection of quality quilting fabrics. But here in Australia, there is still a lack of quality apparel fabric, to sew with. Fabric with drape and width.

I adore fine fabrics – once you touch them, fold the fabric in your hands, marvel at the colours, you'll understand why!

Please enjoy your stay here, around bloom fine fabrics and trims.

May you find some fabric love here.
